In need of some quick and cute decorations for your Halloween party? These tissue paper ghosts are super easy to make! Hang them from the ceilings, create some garlands, or place them around your tables! Read on to check out how to make them.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
THE SUPPLIES:
- 2 Sheets of White Tissue Paper
- White Ribbon or Cord
- Black Marker
THE TOOLS
- Scissors
STEPS
STEP 1: Cut a Square
If your tissue paper isn’t a square, go ahead and cut a piece off the first sheet. Don’t discard the smaller piece – you can use it in the next step.
STEP 2: Create the Head
Taking a second sheet of tissue paper (plus any excess you cut off from the previous step), crumple it up into a loose ball. Place the ball in the middle of the first sheet.
STEP 3: Tie the Head
Bring the edges of the first sheet up and around the ball. Then tie the “head” portion.
STEP 4: Finishing Touches
Fluff out the bottom portion of the tissue paper so it’s more “ghost like”. Then add big eyes and a smile for friendly ghosts OR create some spookier faces for a more haunted house look!
STEP 5: The Finished Product
Now that you’re done, hang a few around the house, create some garlands, or just set them up around your tables!
