Who loves everything Pink!!! If you or your loved one is a fan of the color pink and celebrating an occasion around the winter season, try throwing a Pink Winter Wonderland Party!!! This pink paradise is perfect for holiday celebrations, birthdays, baby showers, and more! Create a snowy, magical, fairy tale-like atmosphere with beautiful decorations, games, activities, & more! Read on to check out our ideas!
We hosted this small party for a winter celebration but you could definitely use a number of these ideas for birthday parties or baby showers.
DECORATIONS
Photo backdrops are a great way of setting a theme and double as a nice and easy activity! Pick a backdrop that functions as decorative, add a few props to the scene and you’ve got a great place to hang out!
There are quite a few pink winter wonderland backdrops out there with some for winter parties (Pink Winter Wonderland Backdrop, Pink Snow Forest Backdrop), baby showers (Pink Snowflake Baby Shower Backdrop), and birthday parties (Winter Onederland Backdrop)! We opted for a more universal one – a Retro Glitter Pink Brick Wall – so that we could reuse it for other parties as well 🙂
Note, you don’t have to go all out with a photo backdrop stand either. Grab a few pieces of tape and an empty wall & you’re all set!
THE TABLE
In keeping with the theme, we decorated the table with pinks as whites as well as some green (for the holiday celebration). There doesn’t appear to be an active link, but there are some other table sets that would work great for a Pink Winter Wonderland Theme (Pink Silver Snowflake Plates, Pink Onederland Plates). We also added a few mini white and pink reindeer on the table.
At the center, we set up a Mini Pink Tree (a white one with pink decorations would work well too!)
ACTIVITY TABLE
For the crafty bunch, these table top activities are perfect for keeping little ones entertained and bringing out their creative sides!
- Design a Snowflake: Set out some scissors and papers in pink, silver, white to let guests create their own snowflakes!
- Pink Glitter Crafts: Grab some Large Clear Ornaments or some Wood Snowflake Ornaments and some Pink Glitter and decorate away!
- Snow Forts & Snow Castles: If you have the time, set up some “ice blocks” and add some “snow balls” – both white and pink! Check out our DIY Snow Forts for Imaginative Play.
- Pink Winter Figurines: Create some of your own mini figurines bundled in pink! Set out some Pink Mini Santa Hats and Wooden Peg Dolls with paint pens or markers to create your own mini figurines!
GAMES
What’s a party without some fun and memorable games??? Kids will definitely have fun just running around and coming up with their own games, BUT adding in a few themed games will definitely be a hit with your guests! Here were a few of ours.
- Snowflake Treasure Hunt – Using some homemade pink paper snowflakes or some pink snowflake ornaments. If you want to add an extra challenge, add a letter on each snowflake which can be unscrambled/sorted to create a word or phrase (e.g. “Happy Holidays”, “Happy Birthday”, etc)
- Pink Winter Items Seek & Find – We created a very simple paper pink winter item search 🙂 Hide the items around the party area and tell everyone to check off items as they find them 🙂
GOODIE BAGS & GIVEAWAYS
And last but not least, send your guests home with pink trinkets: pink candles, pink notepads, and pink cotton candy!
