DECORATIONS
What better way to celebrate a Holiday Lights party than with some holiday lights!!!! String up a few store-bought lights or find some pre-lit trees & you’re good to go 🙂
And to add to the festive scene, add some Christmas Honeycomb Ceiling Decorations or some Felt Lighbulb Banners
And, if you’re in the giving mood, pass out some Christmas Light-Up Bulb Head Boppers or Light Bulb Necklaces for everyone to join in on the holiday light spirit!
THE TABLE
For the table, pick out some Holiday Lights Dessert Plates, Christmas Tree Light Shaped Dinner Plates, Holiday Lights Dinner Napkins, and Holiday Lights Christmas Luncheon Napkins. Then pair those with a few solid Holiday colors and you’ve got a beautiful table worth hanging out at!
ACTIVITY TABLE
For the crafty bunch, these table top activities are perfect for keeping little ones entertained and bringing out their creative sides!
- 3D Ornaments Fill: Fill up some Plastic Bulb Ornaments with your favorite Holiday colored glitter, confetti, or pictures!
- Ornament Painting: Pick out some 3D Wooden Christmas Bulbs or some Wooden Lightbulb Cutouts and let them paint away!
- Fingerprint Christmas Lightbulbs: Pick up some canvases from the Dollar Tree or Crafts Store and create some fingerprint lighbulbs! Have one person create a canvas or create a keepsake with everyone adding their own fingerprints! 🙂
GAMES
What’s a party without some fun and memorable games??? Kids will definitely have fun just running around and coming up with their own games, BUT adding in a few themed games will definitely be a hit with your guests! Here were a few of ours.
- Detangle the Lights – If you’re like many households, you might have a set of lights (or several sets of lights) that are a tangled mess. Save them for a party activity and see which team can detangle them the fastest!
- Find the Broken Lightbulb – Also a familiar challenge… If you have a set of lights where half are on and the other seem broken, it may just be one light bulb that needs to be changed out. Set your guests in teams and
- Red Light Green Light – a childhood favorite, if you have the space, play some red light green light.
- Ultimate Holiday Treasure Hunt -This is one of our more challenging treasure hunts & while it isn’t specific to light bulbs, there is a clue in there where you have to ‘detangle’ the light bulb mess 🙂
GOODIE BAGS & GIVEAWAYS
And last but not least, send your guests home with some light bulb themed trinkets – Holiday Lightbulb Stickers, Lightbulb Erasers, Christmas Lightbulb Shaped Crayons, or Christmas Lights Rubber Ducks. Or if you’re in the baking mood, add some homemade (or store bought :)) cookies into some Holiday Lights Cookie Boxes!
