Looking for that perfect table set up for your dragon party? You don’t have to break the piggy bank! With a few simple decorations, you can create a beautiful table fit for a your dragon prince or princess 🙂 Read on to check out these ideas!
We set this table up for our Sizzling Dragon Themed Party which was themed around blue dragons, but you can definitely switch it up to any other color scheme.
TABLEWARE
For our tableware, we had a blue, silver, and white color scheme. We used larger silver plates, dark blue plates, and light blue napkins. For our napkins, we used the “Triangle Fold” method to create a ‘cave’ where we hide a dragon for each single setting. It’s a nice little surprise for guests when they sit down 🙂 We used this pack of 12 Dragon Figurines: They’re slightly larger than the ones that come in packs of 24-30 and worked well for our table.
We used some silver beverage napkins and light blue plastic ware.
We also had dark blue cups filled with white and light blue napkins. You can never have enough napkins with kids at the table 😉
CENTERPIECE
The centerpiece is what we splurged on the most but couldn’t pass up the Light Blue Mom & Baby Dragon Figurine. You can definitely find some other ones that might not be as expensive. Dragons come in almost every color, so you’ll likely find one in the color of your celebrant’s favorite!
We used a bit of Styrofoam from the Dollar Store and wrapped some light blue around it. This helped prop the dragon up a bit. Then we placed those on top of grey and blue tissue paper to give it more ‘reach’ on the table. To top it off, we wrapped some light blue tulle to give it more of a whimsical feel.
ADDITIONAL DECORATIONS
No table is complete without some table scatter 🙂 We used some small blue acrylics to give the table more shine.
We also had some small bouquets that matched the color scheme as well as some additional dragons on the ends.
FINAL PRODUCT
Now that the table’s been set, sit down and enjoy a feast!
